THE PICTURE ON THE SIDE IS ALSO MADE OF CHARS AND HAS $D800 COLOR AS ONE OF 8-$F, SO IT APPE-ARS MULTICOLOR. OF COURSE MORE THAN ONE CHARSET IS USED TO DRAW THE WHOLE SCREEN. THEN I ADDED SPRITES AND IT'S BEEN A NIGHT- MARE TO FLICKER-FIX THEM, SINCE AT THE TIME I HAD NO CLUE ABOUT HOW TO STABILIZE THE RASTER. FINALLY I ADDED SOME EFFECTES SYNCHED WITH MUSIC, BY SETTING $D000 AREA AS RAM WHEN MUSIC IS PLAYED, IN ORDER TO ANALIZE THE SID PARAMETERS AND TRIGGER THE DEMO EFFECTS, THEN THE $D400- $D428 RAM IS WRITTEN TO SID. - CODED BY - PIXELLED THE FRAME ALSO IN 2006, WHICH HAD NEVER BEEN IMPLEMENTED UNTIL 2011 BY ME. I CONVERTED - 'S BITMAP TO SPRITES FOR THE SIDES OF THE PLASMA, WHILE ABOVE AND BELOW THE PLASMA THE FRAME ISBITMAP. HAVING NO SOURCE CODE AND BEING UNABLE TO FLICKER FIX IT, I DECIDED TO ENTIRELY RECODE IT IN 2011, ADDING MORE FEATURES,JUST THE FONT REMAINED. I WENT FOR A FULL SCREEN SPRITE UPSCROLLER. THE SPRITE MUX INTER-RUPTS ARE MOVED UPWARDS EVERY TI-ME THE UPSCROLLING OCCURS. I KEPTTHE BADLINES SINCE I ALSO WANTED TO PUT GFX IN THE BACKGROUND. THE TIMER IS SYN- CHED ONCE FOR ALL USING A DOUBLE IRQ METHOD, IN ORDER TO START CO-UNTING EXACLTY AT THE BEGINNING OF A RASTER LINE IN THE UPPERBOR-DER (JUST TO MAKE SURE NO BADLI- NE HAPPENS DURING SYNCHRONIZATI- ON). - PROVIDED THE PIXEL ART(DONE IN 2011) YOU CAN SEE IN THE BACKGROUND.
