Interlaced Pairs - INTERLACED PAIRS, IS BASED ON THE GOOD OLD CARD GAME, 'PAIRS'. THIS NEW '96 VERSION OF THE POPULAR CARD GAME, TAKES THE SAME FORMULA, AND ADDS A NEW DIMENSION TO THE GAME-PLAY. UNLIKE PREVIOUS VERSION OF 'PAIRS' ON THE COMMODORE, THE XLCUS VERSION DELIVERS IN BOTH GAME-PLAY, AND QUALITY. THE GAME CAN BE PLAYED AT THREE LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY (IN 1 PLAYER MODE), AND A CHOICE OF THREE DIFFERENT GRAPHICS TYPESIS ALSO PROVIDED. THE ONE PLAYER CHALLANGE MODE, ALLOWS A SINGLE PLAYER TO TRY AND UN-COVER EVERY - TILE, IN AN ALLOCATED NUMBER OF MOVES (DEPENDING ON THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL SELECTED). THE GAME CONTAINS A MASSIVE FIFTY FOUR GRAPHIC PAIR ICONS, WHICH I BELIEVE TO BE MORE THAN ANY PREVIOUS VERSIONS MAY HAVE CONTAINED. - WHEN LOADING IS COMPLETE, YOU SHOULD SEETHE INTERLACED PAIRS TITLE SCREEN. FROMHERE YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT OPTIONS, TO ENHANCE GAME-PLAY. ALL CHANGABLE OPTIONS ARE SHOWN IN BLACKWITH THE DEFAULT OPTIONS HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW. USING A JOYSTICK IN CONTROL PORT 2, YOU - CAN MOVE UP AND DOWN, THROUGH THE VARIOUS OPTIONS, PRESSING FIRE TO CHANGETHEIR INDIVIDUAL ATTRIBUTES.
